Tiger, Wolf, Bear and Webelos Den Meetings
6:30-7:30pm Tuesday June 16 Veteran's Memorial Building, 420 Admiral Callaghan Lane (map) We'll be working on our Badges, playing games and singing songs with the other Cubs in our Den.

June Pack Meeting A Camping We Will Go
6:30-7:30pm Tuesday June 23 Veteran's Memorial Building, 420 Admiral Callaghan Lane (map) "A-Camping we will go" is our theme. Come and have fun with songs, games and awards.

Vallejo 4th of July Parade
9am-12pm Saturday July 4 Kentucky and Broadway, Vallejo (map) On July 4 we will be in the Vallejo parade with Cubs and siblings riding bikes and scooters. We will meet before the parade to decorate the bikes and scooters - the Pack will provide red, white and blue decorations. Wear your uniform and a bike helmet. All family and siblings welcome. It will be hot so bring water.

Pack 118 Swim Party Splish! Splash!!
1-4pm Saturday July 18 Elk's Lodge, 2850 Redwood Parkway, Vallejo (map) Come and have fun cooling off in the pool and earn your swimming belt loop!! Webelos will be working on their Aquanaut activity pin. Whole family welcome - swimming is free for Cubs, family members $4. Wear your uniform, bring your swimming gear and sunscreen.

Rock Climbing Adventure
Climbing for the Webelos

Diablo Rock Gym, 1220 Diamond Way, Suite 140, Concord (map)
For our Webelos. We're going climbing - you'll learn how to climb and abseil taught by expert instructors. Two hours of safe fun. Cost is $10 per Cub Scout (siblings are $20). Payment will be collected at the Diablo Rock Gym on the day of the event. Be sure to wear appropriate, comfortable clothing including shoes and socks.

Cub Scout Day Camp
Be a “MAD SCIENTIST”

8:30-3:30, Monday Aug 3 to Friday Aug 7
Hann's Park, Skyline Drive at Redwood Parkway (map)
Do you want to shoot bows and arrows, swim, make ice cream and more? Do you want to be a Mad Scientist and have fun? In the laboratory of Science Busters, you will experiment with arts and crafts, Scout skills, sports, games, and so much more! For those brave enough to come here, you will discover all the fun to be had. Don't be caught missing out on Cub Scout Day Camp!
Registration is online. $125 after May 15.

Webelos Overnighter
Mad Science!!!

5:30pm, Friday Aug 7 to 9am, Saturday Aug 8
Elks Lodge, 2850 Redwood Parkway, Vallejo (map)
Calling all Webelos - Come to a fun filled overnight camping experience. Astronomy, orienteering, pioneering, cooking, knife safety, fire safety, plant and animal identification, swimming, story telling, knot tying...and camping!! The cost is $10 per person. All Webelos need to be accompanied by a tent and an adult.

VALCORE Service Project and Fundraiser Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Wolves 9-10:30am Bears (Den 3) 10:30am-12pm Saturday Aug 8 Farmer's Market, Georgia St & Marin St (map) A Service Activity helping Valcore publicize recycling in the community. Dragon Patrol Earns Top Honors

May 2009 The Dragon Patrol had a FUN time at the Silver Gate District Camporee at Lake Berryessa. Camping for the first time with the Boy Scouts, they earned both the Top Pack Award and the overall Scout Spirit Award. Well Done!!

Pack 118 Earns Quality Unit Award

January 2009 Pack 118 earned the Quality Unit Award for 2008, the third year in a row. Pack 118 is entering its 56th year of Cub Scouting chartered by American Legion Post 550 in Vallejo, California. We have an active program of age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities. We serve all boys in Grades 1 to 5 who live in Vallejo.
